At All Africa Containers, we are committed to helping you find the perfect container for your project. Because our work involves heavy steel, custom fabrication, and massive transport logistics, we want to be completely upfront about how we handle returns, refunds, and cancellations.

Our goal is to keep your project moving forward smoothly, without any surprises. Here is exactly how we look after you:

1. Return Window 

If you are buying a standard, unmodified shipping container (such as a 3m, 6m, or 12m unit):

  • Our 15-Day Defect Return Window: We want you to be completely satisfied with your steel. If you notice a serious structural issue within 15 days of delivery that we didn’t flag beforehand (like a major leak or hidden structural damage), please let us know immediately. We will gladly send a team to fix it on-site, swap it out for another unit, or process a refund. Note: This covers faults existing prior to delivery; it doesn’t cover accidental damage caused during offloading by third parties or on-site mishaps.

  • Check Upon Delivery: For your peace of mind, please do a quick walk-around inspection as soon as our truck unloads the container at your site so we can address any immediate concerns on the spot.

  • Changing Your Mind: Because moving these giant steel boxes requires specialized crane trucks and complex road logistics, We highly recommend double-checking your site dimensions and access roads before finalizing your order!

2. Custom Conversions & Modular Solutions

We love bringing your custom designs to life—whether it is a functional site office, a classroom, or a modular home. Because these spaces are tailor-made just for you, our policy is a little different:

  • Custom Orders: We work closely with you to finalize detailed blueprints before any manufacturing begins. Once you sign off on the design drawings and our team starts cutting steel or installing interiors, the order is locked in and cannot be cancelled or returned.

  • Our Workmanship Guarantee: We take immense pride in our craftsmanship. If you experience any issues with our workmanship (such as the wiring, plumbing, or insulation) within your warranty period, just give us a call. We will dispatch our team to your site to sort it out immediately.

3. Transport, Rigging, and Delivery Fees

Logistics involves a lot of moving parts, and we rely on heavy-duty third-party transport teams to get your container safely to you:

  • Non-Refundable Costs: Once a truck leaves our yard or completes a delivery, the transport and crane hire fees cannot be refunded.

  • Getting Your Site Ready: Ensuring a heavy-duty crane truck can safely enter and maneuver on your property is your responsibility. Please look out for low-hanging power lines, tight gates, narrow turns, or muddy ground. If a truck arrives and cannot safely drop the container due to site obstacles, you will still be responsible for that transport fee, as well as any future redelivery costs.

4. Container Rentals (Leasing)

If you are renting a container from us to keep your stock or site organized:

  • Ending Your Contract: Cancellation timelines depend entirely on the specific terms agreed upon in your rental agreement.

  • Early Returns: If your project wraps up ahead of schedule and you return a rental unit early, early termination fees may apply to help cover the logistical scheduling and empty yard space.

  • Container Condition: We completely expect normal wear and tear from daily use. However, the container needs to be returned to us in the same basic structural shape it arrived in. Any major structural damage will be repaired using your security deposit or billed to your account.

5. How We Process Refunds

If our management team approves a refund—such as a cancellation requested before we purchase custom materials, or a rare defect we cannot fix:

  • Safe EFT Payments: To keep your funds safe and prevent identity fraud, all refunds are processed strictly via Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) into the identical bank account listed on your original tax invoice. We do not under any circumstances pay out refunds in cash.

  • Timing: Once approved, please allow 7 to 14 business days for the funds to reflect in your account, depending on standard bank processing times.
